Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies on our website.

Last updated: March 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how GOOBLR uses cookies and similar technologies to recognise you when you visit our website. It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control their use. For broader information on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide reporting information. This policy also covers similar technologies such as browser local storage (data stored directly in your browser by the website rather than sent as a cookie header), which is subject to the same UK PECA rules.

02

Why We Use Cookies

We use both first-party and third-party cookies. Some are required for the site to function (essential cookies). Others help us understand usage patterns and improve your experience. We do not use invasive advertising or tracking cookies without your explicit consent.

Current Cookie Usage

This site uses strictly necessary cookies (for authentication and security) and analytics cookies via Microsoft Clarity. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under UK PECA. Analytics cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interests in understanding how our website is used and improving it. Clarity does not collect personally identifiable information and does not use collected data for advertising purposes.

Essential Cookies

  • Authentication: Secure, HTTP-only session cookies (via nuxt-auth-utils) keep you logged in and maintain session state across the dashboard.
  • Security (Cloudflare Turnstile): Used on our forms to verify you're human and to prevent spam or abuse.

Analytics Cookies

  • Microsoft Clarity: Used to generate heatmaps, session recordings, and usage analytics. Clarity processes data on Microsoft's servers. It does not collect or store personally identifiable information and does not use data for advertising. Lawful basis: legitimate interests. You can opt out at clarity.microsoft.com/optout.
04

How to Control Cookies & Local Storage

You can accept or reject cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Note that rejecting essential cookies may prevent certain features from functioning, such as staying logged in. Each browser is different; visit your browser's help menu for instructions.

To clear local storage items, open your browser's developer tools (usually F12), navigate to Application → Local Storage, and delete the relevant keys. Clearing gooblr-package-draft will discard any unsaved package builder progress, clearing gooblr-theme-hint-seen will cause the theme switcher tooltip to reappear, and clearing gooblr-marketing-dismissed will cause the marketing opt-in prompt to reappear on your dashboard.
